         Birthstone  - Blue Sapphire ( Neelam ) is the gemstone dear to planet SATURN according to the INDIAN Astrology (Vedic Astrology). Blue Sapphire is used to pacify the planet Saturn or boost the auspiciousness of the planet Saturn. It is believed that the Lord Saturn ( Shani Deva ) has a blue sapphire in Their Crown. Some people believe that Lord Saturn has also a Third Eye like the Lord Shiva and this eye is the Blue Sapphire centered between the eyebrows. This Eye is the Eye of Justice.
